Travel Photo Series: COPENHAGEN, DENMARK

Last summer, C and I made a trip to Germany to visit his parents who live on the Baltic Sea not far from the ferry that travels across the sea in about an hour to Denmark. When I noticed that Copenhagen was only about 45 minutes away from the ferry via car, we decided to take our rental Audi A4 across the sea for a day-long excursion in Copenhagen. It's an absolutely beautiful and charming city - not to mention the Danish are extremely friendly and funny! Be sure you read up on the Danish monarchy (Hamlet doesn't count apparently) before you visit because much of the city is centered on the royal family. Then of course you must visit Nyhavn (pictured above) and the Little Mermaid Statue in the harbor. Enjoy!
