My Travel Photo Series - BUDAPEST, HUNGARY

In May 2008, I had a unique opportunity after finishing my junior year of college: my summer internship did not begin until the start of July so I had nearly two months to just relax and enjoy life. Of course, I can never just relax, so instead I arranged a 3-week trip to a corner of Europe that I had never explored before. I'm all about time optimization, so it was appropriate to arrange a few day trips from my base, in this case it was Vienna, Austria. For one full day, two Austrian friends and I made an excursion to Budapest, Hungary and I could see right away why it is such an appropriate tourist destination in Europe. The city itself is old and very beautiful...and of course the food and beer are also awesome! Below are some of my favorite pictures from that trip; please enjoy and if you have any questions about travel feel free to send them my way!
