My Top 10 Favorite Movies...EVER

The Academy Awards are coming up on Sunday, and regrettably I have not seen any of the movies nominated for Best Picture this year. However, I did have the esteemed pleasure of joining a few friends to watch the short films (live action and animated) that were nominated in their respective categories – all are really great if you have the opportunity to watch them. Nevertheless, in honor of the biggest weekend of movies, I thought I would share my top 10 favorite movies of all time; I would love to know yours as well!
Typically, the movies that made this list are movies that I have seen many times and I never get tired of watching them multiple times. In fact, I’ll often put one of these on in the background when I’m working at home and they instantly put me in a good mood…no matter what the genre happens to be. Thanks to my Baby Boomer parents, I LOVE really old movies since we had many recordings on VHS tapes (remember those?) well before my family ever got cable TV. All of these hold special memories for me, and I can’t wait to learn your lists too! Share on social media or below! NOTE: these are in order of favoritism.
1. Rear Window (1954)
2. Casablanca (1942)
3. Le Fablueux Destin d'Amelie Poulin (2001)
4. Amadeus (1984)
5. Pulp Fiction (1994)
6. The Time Machine (1960)
7. Psycho (1960)
8. The Godfather (1972)
